Rural Gospel Thrust - Peter Atiah, Ghana, Africa:

Peter Atiah was the first missionary we supported at Wellspring Church. He is located in "The Bush" in Atebubu, Ghana, Africa.  Peter oversees a pastors bible school and children's' ministry in Ghana, as well as a thriving local church.  He visits the US about once a year and stops in to keep a personal relationship with the people at Wellspring.  He is a gifted prophet and good teacher of the Word.  We have been praying and seeking God for a team to take a trip to Ghana to visit and work with Peter. He can be contacted at patiah@yahoo.com or visit them at www.ruralgospelthrust.com.

Joy Baby Complex, Kenya, Africa:

A Ministry for Unfortunate Children in Awendo and Ndhiwa, Kenya, East Africa operated by our friends Rev. Peter and Rachel Midodo. Who Are Pastors in the western part of Kenya, East Africa.  In 1998 they began to reach out to the desperate village children. Poverty is very severe in this part of the world. It is sad that these innocent children are perishing. Both the Government and society seem to have no answer to this problem. They started to bring these children into their home offer them day care to minister to their physical and spiritual needs. They currently minister to 160 children and have 8 teachers.  We are praying to God to provide the resources to expand this ministry. We believe that as a united body of Christ, we can touch their lives. Among these children are some who will reach the world with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We welcome you to be part of what God is doing in Kenya, East Africa. The site is in a village called Ndhiwa about 20 Kilometers (12.5 US miles) from our current facility in Awendo. Ndhiwa is the town with the highest child mortality rate in Kenya. The current HIV infection rate in this area is 50%. It is one of the most depressed area of Kenya. Please look throughout their website at www.joybabycomplex.org and pray if God would have you be a part of their ministry.

Hope for India:

Hope for India is a very multi-faceted ministry in south-eastern India.  They currently have over 280 local village churches and their main church. The main local church is over 700 members strong.  Hope for India also has a Bible College and conducts several conferences each year. They have an orphanage that cares for approximately 110 boys and girls who are affected by extreme poverty and loss of parents.  They are developing vocational training schools for the children and locals and are feeding the poor in their surrounding areas.  They're teaching the word of God and being about the Father's business.

Wellspring Church has several teams that have traveled to India and worked directly with Hope for India. Additionally, Wellspring Church has sent short term missionaries there to work in the administrative offices of the orphanage. Pastor Prabhudas and his wife Ruth oversee the local church and orphanage. You can directly support a child in the orphanage for $35.00 a month.  ALL of this goes directly to support that child.  There are many other ways to support this ministry as well. Pastor Prabhudas can be contacted at Pastorprabhudas@yahoo.co.in  or visit their website at www.hopeforindia.net
